The Holy Mass is the highest form of worship. It is the most beautiful act of worship of the Almighty God and a precious treasure of our Catholic Church. Pope John Paul II says, "Our participation in the Eucharistic Sacrifice should deepen our desire for the whole human family to come to the light of the faith...It should inspire us to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all those who do not yet believe in Him." The Mass nourishes us with the Word of God and the Body and Blood of Christ. The Church has offered the Mass, which participates in the ever-present, everlasting reality of the Last Supper and the passion, death and resurrection. So we should approach every Mass with reverence and awe.
